Metro Stations In Gurgaon

Gurgaon Metro is one of the examples of state-of-the art technology. The metro trains are designed with the modern communication and the train control system which provides reliability and security in metro trains. Because of the presence of metro trains in The Millennium City, Gurgaon commuters can breathe easy. It makes the network of public transport simpler and efficient. The millennium city, Gurgaon got its milestone when most awaited The Gurgaon-Qutub minar section of Delhi Metro opened to public on 21 June, 2010. Now it’s becoming celebration time for Gurgaon commuters because this line has been extended up to Central Secretariat on 3rd September, 2010 and is finally connected with the existing Yellow line between Jahangirpuri and Central Secretariat.

The 45 km long Metro line connecting North Delhi (Jahangirpuri), South Delhi (Green Park, Saket, AIIMS, Hauz Khas) and Gurgaon (HUDA City Centre) in one network (Jahangirpuri to Huda City Center section) has opened to public and 40 trains are running on the line at a frequency of three minutes during peak/off hours. In all, there are 34 Metro stations on the line of which 20 are underground and 14 elevated.

This 12.53 kms fully underground Central Secretariat (CTST) – Qutub Minar Metro corridor is a part of the 27 kms long Central Secretariat (CTST) – HUDA City Centre (Gurgaon) Metro section. Haryana has decided to set up its own Metro Corporation to extend the metro-rail facility to areas in the national capital region (NCR) under Haryana, and later this Metro-rail will extend up to Manesar town. Also, a privately organized and operated Gurgaon Metro Rail Link is going to connect the Delhi Metro's Sikanderpur Station to NH-8, with six stations on a 6-km elevated link. The key financer of this project is DLF. This rail link will complete in 2013.During this Shopping carnival Gurgaon metro resolves all the problems associated with public transportation.
