Kite Festival & Aero Modeling Show Gurgaon - Udaan

Gurgaon is going to organize Gurgaon Shopping Festival from 27th September 2010 to November 01, 2010.In this period of time plenty of Shopping, Cultural, Entertainment & Adventurous activities are going to rock. The 36 days of Non Stop Entertainment, Gurgaon Shopping Festival 2010 organized by Haryana Tourism Mart, REDCO Haryana and Gurgaon Administration.

In India the Kite Festival is a spring festival which is celebrated every January 15, with millions of people flying kites all over northern India. The states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Haryana, Gujarat, and some part of West Bengal, Rajasthan, Punjab and the cities of Ahmadabad, Vadodara, Jaipur, Varanasi and Hyderabad are particularly notable for their kite fighting festivals.

Now Its time to Gurgaon, people of all ages fly kites rejoicing in the spirit of the day. The blue sky is enlivened by kites of different colours and hues. Kites soar in the sky, their lines moving as if alive. Crowded rooftops and fun-loving rivalry to outdo each other are the hall-marks of the day.

On the other hand The Aero Modeling Show is a show with no difference. The event will feature some of the most experienced pilots who have flown the most sophisticated aircraft from around the world, including commercial airline jets and turboprops. The key activities of this show are para-jumping, para-sailing, gliding, hot air ballooning and micro-light flying.

The Kite Festival & Aero Modeling Show is scheduled from 1st October to 3rd October at Leisure Valley Grounds, Gurgaon.
