Half marathon in Gurgaon (24th October 2010)The Gurgaon Shopping Festival introduces first ever international half marathon in Gurgaon, The India's millennium city, to promote the concept of Green Gurgaon where it will provide a platform to people to come together beyond socio-economic barriers and celebrate the joyous triumph without any rivalry.  A half marathon is a road running event of 21,097.5 meters, about 13.1 miles. It is both an elite runner and mass participation event. Now the whole Gurgaon is going to run. From your friend who’s a fitness fanatic to the overweight aunty from your neighborhood, everyone is participating in the Gurgaon Marathon!
